If there is anything at all that makes you feel overwhelmed with your online business, then that just means you have to learn a bit more and get more comfortable. So there is comfort in knowing that choosing http://eo13514training.com as a part of your business does not mean you are being singled out by the universe for special treatment. One very common strategy is hiring freelancers, but for most that is only possible with existing business profits. We understand if you are not quite at that point, though, but there is much available that is very low cost or no cost. It is never a good idea to run straight ahead before you really know the ins and outs of any technique or approach. Outsourcing can be tremendous, but it can be a nightmare if you have never hired before and do not even know the best places to do that. One of the biggest and most potentially dangerous myths about Internet Marketing is that it is a tax free industry. People who get into it seem to feel that just because they are making money and being paid through, for instance, PayPal, they do not have to pay taxes on what they earn. This is simply not true! Most importantly, failing to pay taxes on this income could land you in a lot of trouble. You shouldn't freak out, however: it isn't tough to do taxes when you are an online marketer. Below are a few ideas that will help you. 1. Get an appointment at your local Small Business Association. Each community has a Small Business Association (generally working through a community college) that has experts on both starting your business and making sure that all of the details (like taxes) are taken care of. Best of all, this resource is almost always free of charge! 2. Document each and every little thing. Let's repeat that because it's important: monitor every single detail. This is simple to do through Excel. Put together a spreadsheet and report every last cent you make with your Internet Marketing business as well as one that tracks each cent you spend on your IM efforts. Be sure to keep receipts and invoices for all of the money you pay out. 3. If you've got the money to afford it, work with an accountant. By doing this you would not have to worry about the numbers and taxes part of your online business. You tell your accountant what you've made and paid out (you should can prove this with official proof) and they take care of everything else--especially during tax season. 4. Pay in toward the taxes you will end up owing at the end of the year. 30% of each sale is the fundamental rule of thumb you'll want to follow. This can be accomplished through quarterly Estimated Tax Payments or even month to month with the IRS. The IRS currently has the capability to collect estimated tax payments if you think or want to make them. This way you will not have an eye popping number that you owe at the end of the year (which will be specifically stressful if you haven't saved up for it). Better yet: if you have overpaid in your estimated tax payments, you will get a refund -- just like you would if you were working for a company! Make sure to talk to a person at the IRS to get this set up correctly. 5. Learn about each of your allowed tax deductions. When you operate your own business quite a lot of things like your utility payments, etc are tax deductible (as is any money you spend on business equipment or supplies). Your accountant or someone from the IRS can help you find out what all you can deduct when it is time for you to pay taxes. Becoming intimidated by the tax process when you're an Internet Marketer is quite natural. Fortunately, there are all kinds of resources available to help you follow the law and still keep yourself from losing your shirt to the IRS! Related Links: Updated: February 19, 2012 07:29 PM PST
